Autumn is such a beautiful season, and in Yoga we are reminded of just how important slowing down and letting go is in our everyday practise.
It's also a vibrant reminder of the beauty in change and just how natural and powerful it can be.
Its so important to get out in nature and feel the ground beneath your feet to help you feel rooted. Sand, grass, earth, whatever you can get to. Even if the rain is pouring, the wind is howling, even better. Feel your connection to the world around you, see all the rawness, all the beauty, and the change, reminding you that you are part of it all too.
Here is a link to October's Yin Yang playlist on Spotify, a great one to help you start to slow down and connect with the rhythm of nature.
If you have been to one of my classes you will know I love readings and poems that tie in with our intention. And this has been one of my favourites to read after Savasana this month, its by Zanna Keithley and it captures my thoughts and intentions for our practise perfectly.
